Dermal Peels Newcastle

If breakouts, uneven tone or dull, congested skin have you reaching for heavier makeup, you’re not alone — and everyday skincare doesn’t always get deep enough to shift it. A professionally administered dermal peel works below the skin’s surface to exfoliate, resurface and support healthier-looking skin over a course of treatments. Body Sculpting Clinics provides dermal peels for Newcastle clients, delivered at our Charlestown Square clinic, just minutes from Newcastle CBD.

Our dermal peels are designed by Skin Genius MD and administered by our dermal therapists, who assess your skin at consultation and recommend the right peel — or combination — for your goals.

Types of Dermal Peels in Newcastle

At Body Sculpting Clinics Charlestown Square, we offer three Skin Genius MD dermal peels. Your dermal therapist will recommend the right peel for your skin during consultation.

Mandelic Acid Peel — Acne, Rosacea & Problematic Skin

A mid-strength alpha hydroxy acid peel derived from bitter almonds, the Mandelic Acid Peel exfoliates gently while offering antimicrobial benefits that make it effective for acne-prone and reactive skin. It’s a popular choice for clients with sensitive skin or higher Fitzpatrick skin types who still want a meaningful result.

Jessner Peel — Pigmentation, Melasma & Repair

Our Modified Jessner Peel combines salicylic acid, lactic acid and resorcinol in one medium-depth treatment, targeting hyperpigmentation, melasma, acne scarring and fine lines. It’s a more potent option best suited to clients with normal to resilient skin who want to address multiple concerns at once.

Lactic Peel — Radiance & Glow

The Derma Lactic Peel is a high-potency superficial peel that resurfaces the skin while helping to lock in hydration. It’s often used as a first exfoliating peel for clients who are new to peels or have more sensitive skin, and suits most skin types looking for brighter, smoother, more even-toned skin.

Not everyone is a suitable candidate for a dermal peel. Your dermal therapist will review your medical history and current medications during consultation to confirm which peel, if any, is right for you.

How do dermal peels work?

Dermal peels use active acid solutions to break down the bonds between built-up, dead skin cells, allowing them to shed and reveal fresher skin underneath. Depending on the peel and the number of layers applied, treatments can be superficial or medium-depth, and are typically delivered as a course over several sessions rather than a single visit.

Most clients see redness, mild swelling or skin peeling in the days following treatment, generally resolving within 2–7 days. Outcomes vary between individuals, and a proper skin consultation with one of our dermal therapists is required before any peel to confirm suitability and build a tailored treatment plan.

FAQ’s

Yes. Body Sculpting Clinics delivers dermal peels for Newcastle clients at our Charlestown Square clinic, designed by Skin Genius MD and administered by our dermal therapists.

It depends on your skin concerns. The Mandelic Acid Peel is often chosen for acne, rosacea and sensitive skin; the Jessner Peel for pigmentation, melasma and more resilient skin; and the Lactic Peel for dull, dehydrated skin or as a gentler first peel. Your dermal therapist will recommend the right option during your consultation.

Pricing varies by peel type. As a guide, the Lactic and Mandelic Acid peels are $149 as a single treatment ($125 per treatment when you prepay a course of 6+), while the Jessner Peel is $249 as a single treatment ($199 per treatment on a prepaid course of 6+). Your consultation will confirm current pricing and the right plan for your skin.

Dermal peels aren’t a once-off treatment. We generally recommend a course of 4 to 6 sessions, spaced roughly a month apart, for optimal results — though your dermal therapist will confirm a plan based on your skin and goals at consultation.

Dermal peels are a professionally administered, medical-grade treatment, but they aren’t suitable for everyone. They’re not recommended for anyone who is pregnant, has taken isotretinoin in the past six months, has active cold sores, has broken skin or an injury in the treatment area, or has a current bacterial or fungal infection. Your dermal therapist will also ask about medications such as blood thinners, photosensitisers and antidepressants, and any recent cosmetic treatments, before confirming suitability.
