Award Winning APTOS Threads

*Disclaimer: Results vary from patient to patient

An APTOS thread lift is designed to provide lift, tighten saggy skin, smooth wrinkles, stimulate collagen production and improve skin tone and colour to give you a more natural long lasting appearance. Results are evident immediately and continue to improve over many months. Benefits of a thread lift continue for several years after treatment. Thread lifting is now a popular procedure to achieve a refreshed look while improving the quality of the skin.

Thread lifting is a procedure which involves elevating different parts of the face and body using specially designed threads without having to make incisions as per the classical face lift.

Besides lifting, threads improve skin tone, texture, colour and hydration. The Aptos thread lift procedure take anywhere from 35 – 45 minutes and has minimal downtime.

An Aptos thread lift is different to a PDO thread they are made poly-L-lactic acid + caprolactone material, which means they last longer than the traditional PDO thread lift.

Unlike traditional surgical facelifts APTOS threads rejuvenate the face without changing your natural features. Usually soft tissues are just repositioned to their original location.

Lifting, Rejuvenating + Tightening Threads

APTOS threads are made of both non-absorbable (polypropylene) and absorbable (poly-L-lactic acid + caprolactone) material. Polypropylene threads are used in surgery for more than 50 years. Polylactic threads are composed of fully absorbable, non-allergic material used in medicine for many years.

Threads provide double action: lifting and rejuvenation.

Aptos Threads have specially designed barbs that provide soft grip on surrounding tissues. As absorbable threads dissolve naturally, the skin starts to produce more collagen which gives a longer-lasting result. Over time they improve skin tone, texture, colour and hydration.

Aptos threads and thread lifting methods achieve international acclaim.

Aptos has participated in AMEC live Visage 2017 conference, that was held 15 – 17 September 2017, Monte-Carlo, Monaco. AMEC live Visage is an Anti-Ageing Congress and one of the most important events in Aesthetic Medicine field. Aptos have won 2 main trophies at the AMEC live Visage congress:

  • Trophy for the best tightening threads
  • Trophy for the best clinical case in nose correction
