*Disclaimer – Results vary from patient to patient.

Biostimulating cosmetic injections are a form of collagen stimulating injections which, act as a micro stimulator deep into the dermis of the skin and contain microparticles of “Poly-L-Lactic acid.”

Poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) is biocompatible (a material that does not harm the body) and biodegradable (able to be broken down to lactic acid by the body).

These Collagen Stimulating Injections are a powerful non surgical options which provide a gradual and significant increase in skin thickness, improving the appearance of dimpling skin and skin texture. This helps to offer patients long lasting results in the treatment of Cellulite.

b-99

Although there are many treatments for cellulite, these Biostimulators work differently.  As a collagen stimulator with PLLA, it works deep within the dermis to help imbue new life and vitality to collagen production.  This helps restore your skin’s inner structure and substance.

Over the counter cellulite creams, pills and caffeine lotions, are often ineffective in treating cellulite as they only target the surface of the skin and don’t penetrate far enough to cause important structural changes to the skin’s layers.

The procedure itself is minimally invasive, and results can sometimes be seen immediately.

There is minimal downtime, which means you can return to work the same day.

  • Collagen Stimulating Injections provide a gradual and significant increase in skin thickness, improving the appearance of dimples and skin texture.
  • Collagen stimulating products are injected below the surface of the skin in the area where the cellulite is appearing.
  • This injectables treatment contains poly-L-lactic acid (PPLA), a synthetic material which is both biocompatible (a material that does not harm the body) and biodegradable (able to be broken down to lactic acid by the body).
  • It acts like a fertiliser, or a seed that stimulates the production of the new collagen, replacing the old and damaged collagen that occurs with ageing.
  • This new collagen, strengthens the skin, builds additional new collagen and fills out the dimples.
  • There are many treatments for cellulite but these biostimulators work differently to other cellulite treatments.
  • As a collagen stimulator with PLLA, it works deep within the dermis to help imbue new life and vitality to collagen production.

Results that are long lasting.

Cellulite is a stubborn skin condition characterised by lumpy, dimpled skin. The exact cause is uncertain, but is thought to be related to the following issues:

  • Fat tissue, puckering through connective tissue
  • Build-up of fluid in the skin
  • Family history + Genetics
  • Oestrogen, which causes female pattern of fat distribution
  • Excessive body fat, while not the cause will contribute to worsening
  • Loss of collagen + elastin as we age
  • Sun damage skin that affects the elasticity

Additionally, endermologie, lymphatic drainage massages or dry-brushing might help, however the improvements won’t be great enough to significantly change the structure of the skin and as a result appearance of Cellulite especially as a long term result.

What Are Cellulite Injections?

Cellulite injections are advanced biostimulating treatments that help smooth dimples and firm the skin by stimulating collagen deep within the dermis. The key ingredient is Poly-L-Lactic Acid (PLLA) — a safe, biodegradable compound that rebuilds skin structure from within.

Unlike moisturisers, caffeine lotions or over-the-counter creams that only work on the surface, these injections target the true cause of cellulite—weakened connective tissue below the skin. That’s why topical products often fail to deliver meaningful or lasting results.

  • Thickens skin and boosts elasticity

  • Minimally invasive with little to no downtime

  • Visible, long-lasting improvement in skin texture

You can return to normal activities the same day, making it a convenient, non-surgical option for long-term cellulite reduction.

How Do They Work?

Biostimulator injections work beneath the skin’s surface to target the structural cause of cellulite — not just the symptoms. Using Poly-L-Lactic Acid (PLLA), the injections trigger your body’s natural collagen production, gradually strengthening and thickening the skin.

As collagen builds over time, skin becomes firmer, smoother, and more elastic — reducing the appearance of dimples and uneven texture. The result is a natural-looking improvement that lasts well beyond the treatment session.

  • Stimulates deep collagen renewal

  • Strengthens connective tissue

  • Visibly reduces cellulite over time

This process works from the inside out, delivering results that creams and surface treatments simply can’t match.

Ideal Candidate

Cellulite injections are ideal for those who:

  • Have mild to moderate cellulite (dimples or uneven texture)

  • Want a non-surgical solution with natural-looking results

  • Are healthy and maintain a stable weight

  • Understand that results build gradually over time

  • Have realistic expectations about improvement, not perfection

These treatments are suitable for most skin types and tones. If you’re unsure whether this is right for you, a complimentary consultation can help determine the best option for your goals.

Maximising Your Results

Cellulite can be challenging to treat due to factors like skin texture, genetics, and connective tissue structure. However, with the right approach, visible and long-lasting improvements are achievable.

At Body Sculpting Clinics, we use a multimodal strategy to deliver the best possible outcomes. We combine biostimulator injections with advanced technologies, tailored to your unique skin needs:

  • Biostimulator Injections – Stimulate collagen, thicken skin, and improve elasticity

  • Radio Frequency (RF) Skin Tightening – Firms skin and smooths dimples; suitable for all types of cellulite

  • HIFU (High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound) – Targets deeper layers to contour and tighten

  • Medical Cryolipolysis (Fat Freezing) – Reduces fat volume in cellulite-prone areas

  • Low Frequency Ultrasound – Enhances results when combined with other modalities

Most clients see a noticeable improvement but this is contingent on a number of factors which can be hereditary, with results from injectables lasting up to 2 years.
